For students aged 14-16, I am possibly the most experienced teacher of GCSE science in the world!!! I have taught in the best Independent schools, the worst state schools, Jewish, Muslim, single-sex, academies, grammar... in fact over 35 working environments and every type of school in 4 continents! (Some of which I have listed) I have also been a Head of Science in 3 very different institutions and shortlisted twice by the UK government for it's national "Future Leaders" programme.
At King's Lynn Academy I was given the responsibility for online learning and taught classes as large as 90 online during the first Covid epidemic. I delivered staff training on how to use Microsoft Teams and other applications. I also taught in a conventional way. My involvement in online teaching gave me the opportunity to teach classes across China, in Qingdoa (primary science) , Ningbo ( A level Biology) and Shanghai. I have since been teaching pure online classes to students from many different areas including from New Zealand to the UK. Now a full-time tutor, my 1-to-1 work has led me to teach students from Stowe School (see left), to Bow comprehensive, Vancouver and Berlin to Saudi Arabia. I have helped students get into institutions like Eton and Radley College.
Edron is regarded as one of the best independent schools in Latin America and is an IB world school. I was appointed Head of Science and redesigned the KS3 curriculum as well as teaching science to all secondary years and Physics post-16. Responsibilities included teacher appraisal.
Here, I taught iGCSE and KS3 science as well as A level Physics.
One of the best independent schools in Egypt. I taught Physics at A level and iGCSE science and maths. Two of the Applied science students achieved the best scores in the world at iGCSE and were formally recognised by the Edexcel board. One of my A level Physics students had achieved the best score in Egypt for iGCSE.
A medium-sized Independent school, I was employed as a Head of Science. Celebrities such as Rod Stewert and Danny Dier can cite Normanhurst amongst their children's alma mater over the period I was there!
Employed as a Head of Science, my additional responsibilities included being an Acting Head of Maths and Head of Year 9.
